How to Tell if Your Piano Needs Rebuilding
There are a variety of tell-tale signs that will indicate to you that your piano needs to be rebuilt. They include the following:
- Is the case worn or damaged?
- Has the finish lost its luster?
- Do some notes go out of tune quickly after a tuning?
- Do the bass strings sound dull, or have they lost their shiny copper color?
- Does the piano play sluggishly?
- Is the tone less than beautiful?
All of these problems can be fixed, and much more.
